If you have ever been to the Isle of Wight, chances are you’ve been to the Isle of Wight Zoo. Originally family-owned it recently became a registered Charity – The Wildheart Trust, which is dedicated to realising its global ambitions to make a meaningful impact on the health of the natural world while actively improving the well-being of animals in human care. The Trust aims to promote the survival of endangered species through first class educational and recreational experiences, exemplary animal management, conservation and research. The Zoo is well known as a centre for rescued big cats, all have come to their forever homes at the Zoo at different stages of their lives and from a variety of backgrounds.
Featured Work
With Five new rescue tigers on their way from Spain, we were approached by the Isle of Wight Zoo to help promote the magnificent beasts arrival. Extensive PR was done to highlight the tigers turn in fortune, including local press, filming and TV coverage. They made the journey, transported in trailers across on the ferry and Coast went along to film the whole event. we produced banners for the port and the zoo, well, let’s face it, if you can’t shout about 5 rescued circus tigers… when can you?
Next, we were set the task of designing adoption boxes for each big cat, complete with cuddly toy, certificates, information guide, poster and badge. And finally a marketing leaflet, to highlight the tigers and all the other wonderful sights at the zoo. Due to time constraints we couldn’t change the visitor map but, watch this space, we are beavering away at it as we speak.
If you want to see a really good animal welfare story, go see these guys at the Isle of Wight Zoo.
They’ll all live happily ever after.
